Job Description
H&D Recruitment is hiring reliable and professional Event Stewards, SIA Door Supervisors, and SIA Door Supervisors with a driving licence to support large-scale live events at Newmarket Racecourse. The role focuses on crowd safety, access control, customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage crowd movement and ensure spectator safety.
- Control entry and exit points, and check tickets or accreditation.
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the event.
- Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, or customer concerns.
- Follow event procedures and complete all required reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, staff, and organisers.
- Comply with health and safety requirements, as well as event regulations, at all times.
Requirements
- A valid SIA licence is required for Door Supervisor roles.
- The right to work in the UK, with valid identity documents.
- The ability to provide a short voice introduction as part of the registration process.
- Full day and night availability on selected event dates.
- A driving licence is required for driver roles.
- A Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety is desirable but not mandatory.
