Job Description
H&D Recruitment is currently looking for Dog Handlers to work alongside trained security dogs to provide a strong visible security presence at events and sites. Duties include patrols, deterrence, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols alongside security dogs to ensure safety
- Provide deterrence and respond to incidents as needed
- Maintain control of the dog and ensure professional conduct at all times
- Ensure situational awareness and effective communication with the security team
- Work long hours, including outdoors in various conditions
Requirements
- Valid dog handler certification and licensed security dog
- Proven experience working as a dog handler
- Strong situational awareness and physical fitness
- Ability to work long hours, including outdoors
- Professional conduct and full control of the dog at all times
