Job Description
H&D Recruitment is currently looking for Dog Handlers to work alongside trained security dogs and provide a strong, visible security presence at events and sites. Duties include patrols, deterrence, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols alongside security dogs to ensure safety.
- Provide a visible deterrent and respond to incidents as needed.
- Maintain control of the dog and demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
- Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively with the security team.
- Work long hours, including outdoors in a range of conditions.
Requirements
- A valid dog handler certification and a licensed security dog.
- Proven experience working as a dog handler.
- Strong situational awareness and a good level of physical fitness.
- The ability to work long hours, including outdoors.
- Professional conduct and full control of the dog at all times.
