Modern Slavery Act 2015
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking statement
Introduction from the H&D Recruitment
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes H&D Recruitment’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 26/02/19
Organisation Structure
H&D is a GLAA-certified recruitment agency (authorised by the government), based in the centre of Hounslow. We have years of experience and can provide you with whatever employees you need. We were able to complete our contracts thanks to the 3000+ active users in our database.
Our Policies Against Human Trafficking and Slavery
We are dedicated to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business, including our supply chains.
We have established a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy in order to comply with the requirement to report on actions taken to ensure that every aspect of our business and supply chain is free of slavery.
Our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships and to putting in place and enforcing efficient systems and controls to make sure slavery and human trafficking don’t occur anywhere in our supply chains is demonstrated by our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
All of our clients are reputable businesses. They provide and uphold the best job perks available and strictly adhere to safe working procedures. As a business, we won’t collaborate with organisations that don’t adhere to the highest standards.
The process of Prevent Human Trafficking and Slavery
We thoroughly discuss each position and personally visit our candidates’ places of employment as part of our endeavour to detect and mitigate risk to ensure that they are treated with the utmost respect.
Systems are in place to:
- Analyse and evaluate the possible risk areas in our supply chains.
- Reduce the possibility that slavery and human trafficking will take place in our supply chains.
- Maintain a close eye on any supply chain risk areas.
- Keep whistleblowers safe.
Training
We train our workers to ensure that they have a thorough awareness of the dangers of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and operations. Additionally, we will demand that our business partners teach their employees, suppliers, and providers.
Supplier Support to our Values
Human trafficking and slavery are not tolerated at all. We guarantee that H&D Recruitment individually recruits each and every one of our prospects. We don’t hire employees from any other businesses or agencies. The high street location and online advertising are the main sources of our workforce. Additionally, we promote our openings locally on billboards and in stores. By doing this, we make sure H&D Recruitment doesn’t break any rules.
We have a staff meeting specifically for discussing compliance.
