Introduction from H&D Recruitment

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes H&D Recruitment’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 26/02/19.

The Process to Prevent Human Trafficking and Slavery

We thoroughly discuss each position and personally visit our candidates’ places of employment as part of our efforts to detect and mitigate risk, ensuring that they are treated with the utmost respect.

Reduce the possibility that slavery and human trafficking will take place in our supply chains.
Keep a close eye on any supply chain risk areas.
Keep whistleblowers safe.

Training

We train our workers to ensure that they have a thorough awareness of the dangers of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and operations. Additionally, we require our business partners to train their employees, suppliers, and service providers.
