Van Driver

H&D Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and reliable Van Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods to various locations, ensuring deliveries are completed on time. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws and safety procedures while operating the company vehicle to support smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the company van safely to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring secure and organised delivery.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures while on the road.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining schedules and customer satisfaction.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling.

• Valid driving licence and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight delivery schedules.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with road laws.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance.
